The backwaters in Kerala are a world of serenity and wonderment. Day 01: Arrive Cochin
Arrive Cochin. Meeting & Greeting at Airport & transfer to hotel for stay.

Day 02: Cochin
After breakfast sightseeing tour to Cochin. Cochin, Kerala's commercial centre, it has a fine natural harbour & gateway for Kerala is famous for Mattanchery Palace, St. Francis Church, Wellington Island, Bolghatty Island, Chinese Fishing nets and Jewish Synagogue. Cruising on the back-waters provides glimpses of the rural life, fine view of the harbour and three islands. Evening witness Kathakali Dance Show in a theatre.

Day 03: Cochin - Periyar (approx 180 kms. 4 Hrs. drive)
After breakfast drive to Periyar. Afternoon boat cruise on Lake Periyar. This sanctuary has about 35 tigers and leopards. The park encompasses a 26 sq km artificial lake and is the home of sambars, wild boars, elephants and antelopes which can be occasionally seen on the banks of the river during a boat cruise. Periyar, otherwise, blessed by Nature has enormous tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantations and is lush green.

Day 04: Periyar - Kumarakom (approx 136 kms. 3 Hrs. drive)
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom via Kottayam. Kottayam is another commercial centre of Kerala. Dotted with churches and covered with rubber plantations, it is just 16 km away from Kumarakom and Vembanand Lake. To the city's west are delightful backwaters and to its east is the most fertile and scenic part of the Western Ghats having rubber, tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantations. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free.

Day 05: Kumarakom - Alleppey backwater cruise
After breakfast at hotel embark Kerala Houseboat "Kettuvalam" at Kumarakom jetty. Staying in this moving palace is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, dinner next day breakfast and tea snacks will be provided in the boat.

Day 06: Alleppey - Kovalam (approx 175 Kms 4 ½ hrs. drive)
After breakfast disembark at 0930 hours and drive to Kovalam. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening is free to relax on beach.

Day 07: Kovalam - Onward Destination
Full day is free to relax on beach. Later in the evening drive to Airport (17 Kms) to connect flight for your onward Destination.
